In Chinese culture, jasmine (茉莉花) has long symbolised purity, elegance and the quiet strength of devotion. From ancient poetry to timeless folk songs, its fragrance evokes refinement, sincerity and the serene beauty of southern gardens. Traditional jasmine tea is crafted through a meticulous scenting process in which tea leaves and fresh blossoms are layered, rested and gently heated multiple times to absorb the floral aroma before drying and final packaging.
Building on this heritage, Zebra Estate unites the artistry of Chinese jasmine tea with innovative coffee processing. Through its Jasmine Co-Dark Dry method, the estate conducts three precisely controlled scenting stages using natural jasmine blossoms. This process preserves the clean, washed character of Yunnan coffee while infusing it with vivid jasmine tea notes. The result is a layered and expressive cup that reflects both terroir and tradition, showcasing the natural fragrance and depth of jasmine.
The coffee opens with a delicate bouquet of jasmine blossom, lemon peel and ripe fruit. On the palate it reveals subtle white floral tones and a bright touch of lemon acidity, culminating in a lingering, honey-like sweetness that carries through the final sip.

About the Estate
In 2018, Ms. Sun (孙爽) envisioned a coffee farm unlike any other and brought Zebra Estate to life. Just one harvest later, the estate’s coffee won the Best of Yunnan Green Coffee Competition, an early sign of the excellence to come.
Nestled in the highlands of Pu’er at more than 1,850 meters above sea level, Zebra Estate spans over 250 hectares. Here, coffee trees thrive beneath the protective canopy of untouched rainforest. The forest itself becomes a natural partner, providing shade, conserving moisture and nurturing beans of remarkable quality. This land is blessed with unique natural and geographical conditions, giving Zebra Estate coffee its distinctive terroir and character. Combined with dramatic day–night temperature shifts, these conditions concentrate sweetness, build a full body and create a silky texture that elevates Zebra Estate coffee to world-class status.
The team’s vision of the “ideal coffee” shapes every decision on the estate. Guided by scientific farming and organic cultivation, they devote themselves to excellence at every stage. State-of-the-art technology supports their work, from fresh-cherry colour sorters to pesticide residue testing and environmental monitoring. Every lot is meticulously documented, ensuring full traceability. Thanks to an integrated processing station, cherries are transported and processed within eight hours of being picked, preserving their exceptional flavour and freshness.
Sustainability is at the heart of Zebra Estate. A custom-built wastewater treatment system filters processing water through multiple ponds, transforming sediment into organic fertiliser that is given free to local farmers for composting. This circular approach minimises waste, returns nutrients to the soil and protects the surrounding ecosystem. Environmental education is woven into farmer training sessions, empowering growers to improve cultivation and processing practices while caring for the land that sustains them.
Zebra Estate also uplifts its community. Using a “company + base + cooperative + farmers” model, it provides contract-based support and job opportunities to over 200 local residents each year. This initiative helps households increase their income by 4,500 to 6,001 CNY per person annually, contributing to poverty alleviation and rural revitalisation.
Today, Zebra Estate stands as more than a coffee farm. It is a living example of how vision, science and respect for nature can work together to create extraordinary coffee while strengthening the community that nurtures it.
